The textual meaning of error code 0x800706ba is RPC server is Unavailable where RPC stands for Remote Procedure Call Service. When a client computer running windows XP makes a request to a remote Microsoft COM+ object the request may fail with error number 0x800706ba. This is because when server port is busy or not available. As your pc makes connection with remote server a port is open for listening connection. Meanwhile if the network connection gone, the port remained open for several hours for no use and when next time you make connection you may get The RPC server is unavailable 0x800706BA error message.

4. Remove all the incompatible hardware and software
5. Scan PC and remove the entire virus, Trojan and other destructive programs.
6. Alternatively restart rpc service again. To restart go to run window and type services.msc. In the service list find Remote Procedure Call(RPC) services, right click on it and restart.
